Godwin Modern School was established in 1992 by the Kurseong Godwin Academic & Technical Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of the community. The school was founded with the vision of providing quality, affordable education to children of all races, religions, nationalities, and academic abilities.

The founders firmly believed that education is the most important instrument for transmitting culture and values from generation to generation, fostering understanding and respect among diverse groups.

Situated in the picturesque town of Kurseong, also known as “The Land of White Orchids,” the school is surrounded by natural beauty that inspires both students and teachers alike. Over the years, Godwin Modern School has served as a nurturing ground, helping countless students achieve their dreams and succeed in their endeavors.
